Education. Dialogue. Positive action.
In cooperation with Causewave Community Partners, the Levine Center To End Hate is distributing the second State of Hate in Rochester survey. This 10-15-minute survey was designed to measure the increase or decrease in types of hate and bias according to perceptions and lived experiences. We will be using the survey data to better understand how, and how much, hate towards certain protected classes has changed since 2022 (when we conducted our first State of Hate survey).
The survey will be live until March 20.
It has never been more important to hear from marginalized and targeted communities, and we also want to hear from mainstream, majority folks: in essence, everyone's voice counts, and in order to curate a true representation of the attitudes, perceptions, and experiences in Rochester, we need your help!
Your participation will allow the Levine Center and our partner organizations, including the City of Rochester, Ibero American Action League, APAPA Rochester, the Human Rights Council of Western NY, and the Finger Lakes Hate and Bias Prevention Unit, to identify where our efforts to address hate are most needed.
